This total RNA product is prepared from Cynomolgus monkeys' healthy bone marrow tissue using the classical guanidine isothiocyanate phenol: chloroform extraction method which allows the rapid isolation of total RNA including microRNAs. The sample is processed with RNase-free DNase-1 to remove residual DNA and can be applied in a series of biochemical experiments.

The integrity of each RNA sample is verified by denatured agarose gel electrophoresis, which assesses the presence of intact ribosomal RNA. The purity of the RNA is evaluated using a spectrophotometer, specifically measuring the A260/A280 ratio within the range of 1.9-2.1. Additionally, PCR is utilized to test for any residual DNA contamination.
