It is firstly fixed in 10% neutral buffered formalin and then processed for paraffin embedding. The final sample has been confirmed as negative for Herpes-B Virus, SRV, SIV, and STLV-1, and can serve as a helpful tool for a lot of tests and assays including PCR, WB, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescent flow cytometry.
