GFP is a generally acknowledged protein type in the cell research area. Our GFP-expressing monkey alveolar epithelial cells were prepared after going through two processes of infection with GFP-expressing lentiviruses and screening with antibiotics. They are harvested and preserved in vials when at passage 3 and can be cultured for about 3-5 passages under a suitable medium.
