Creative Biolabs develops a collection of derivative products of GFP-expressing primary cells. Our immortalized GFP-expressing monkey primary skeletal muscle cells are generated from the immortalization event of over-expressing some viral genes. In a gelatin-pre-coated tissue culture flask, these cells are cultured until the third passage and then transferred in vials for cryopreservation. You can rethaw and expand them for more than ten passages at a split ratio of 1:2 in a suitable medium. These cells are easy to culture and maintain, and offer a helpful platform for obtaining homogeneous cells constantly.
