As we all know, RFP is an important label protein that glows red-orange fluorescence on a yellow-green light background. It offers an appreciative platform for a collection of experimental scenarios. Our RFP-expressing monkey primary brain vascular smooth muscle cells are obtained from the transduction process with RFP-lentiviral particles. These cells are obtained from fresh tissues and are cultured in a gelatin pre-coated tissue culture flask until passage 3. Then they are harvested and transferred into vials for frozen storage.
