RFP plays a significant role in cell biology and biotechnology. We generate the RFP-expressing monkey primary colonic microvascular endothelial cells from the normal prostate colon of cynomolgus monkey by the transfection process with RFP-lentiviral particles in a standard cleanroom. After being isolated from fresh tissues, these cells are cultured in a gelatin pre-coated tissue culture flask. When in passage 3, we harvest and transfer them into vials for frozen storage.
