Asp8 Pep-LNP is a state-of-the-art peptide-functionalized lipid nanoparticle (LNP), designed for efficient targeted delivery of therapeutic cargoes such as siRNA, mRNA, DNA, small molecule drugs, and RNA-guided gene editing systems, particularly to both calcified tissues and specific tumor cells. Engineered with the Asp8 peptide, an eight-aspartate short peptide with strong negative charge that specifically binds to calcium-rich mineralized tissues like bone and calcified lesions, this LNP also leverages Asp8's ability to recognize and bind to tumor cells expressing specific integrins, facilitating the direct delivery of therapeutic agents. Our LNP is prepared using DSPE-PEG-Asp8 and a variety of optional lipid formulations including DLin-MC3-DMA, LP-01, ALC-0315, SM102, and others. These formulations are carefully selected to ensure the LNP has uniform particle size, high encapsulation efficiency, stability, and targeted delivery. Applications of Asp8 Pep-LNP include research in targeted cancer therapy, bone metastasis treatment, treatment of calcification-related diseases, and developing dual-targeting strategies for diseases involving both tumor and mineralized tissue components.
