DMG-mPEG

DMG-mPEG is a monomethoxy polyethylene glycol (mPEG) conjugated lipid composed of 1,2-dimyristoyl-rac-glycerol (DMG) and methoxy-terminated PEG. The DMG moiety serves as a hydrophobic anchor for stable integration into lipid bilayers, while the mPEG chain provides steric stabilization, reduces opsonization, and prolongs systemic circulation. This amphiphilic conjugate is essential for formulating lipid-based drug delivery system with enhanced biocompatibility. Applications include nucleic acid delivery and long-circulating nanocarriers.
