DSPE-TK-PEG-SH consists of DSPE, a PEG spacer, a thioketal (TK) linker, and a terminal Thiol group. The thioketal linker is specifically cleavable by reactive oxygen species (ROS) prevalent in inflammatory and tumor microenvironments. This allows for ROS-triggered release of the thiol-conjugated moiety or the PEG shell. The thiol group enables initial conjugation, making this product ideal for designing advanced drug delivery systems that respond to pathological oxidative stress.
