Introduction
2'3'-c-di-AM(PS)2₂(Rp,Rp) is a synthetic cyclic dinucleotide (CDN) analog designed to stimulate the STING (stimulator of interferon genes) pathway, a critical component of the innate immune system. This molecule is a bisphosphorothioate analog of c-di-AMP, modified to enhance its stability and potency. Specifically, the (Rp,Rp) configuration and the phosphorothioate linkages contribute to its resistance to enzymatic degradation and increased affinity for STING.
