Introduction
Alum Adjuvant contains an aqueous solution of aluminum hydroxide (40 mg/mL) and magnesium hydroxide (40 mg/mL) plus inactive stabilizers. It effectively stimulates the immune response for antibody production procedures when being mixed and injected with prepared immunogens. Alum Adjuvant is preformulated and simply requires mixing with the antigen and then injected into the animal. It can provide an effective and convenient alternative to the more hazardous Freund's reagents.
