Introduction
Aluminium Hydroxide Gel Adjuvant 2% possesses a high specific surface area and a positively charged surface, enabling it to effectively adsorb negatively charged antigens. This process facilitates the formation of an antigen reservoir, thereby prolonging the exposure time of the immune system to the antigen. Additionally, it stimulates localized inflammatory responses and enhances the uptake of antigens by antigen-presenting cells (APCs). The gel-like properties of this adjuvant are capable of inducing Th2-type immune responses, promoting B-cell differentiation, and augmenting antibody production.
