Introduction
Freund's Complete Adjuvant can cause granulomas, inflammation at the inoculation site and lesions. To minimize the side-effects, Freund's Incomplete Adjuvant is used for the boost a stronger, longer lasting immunogenic response that does not contain killed cells of Mycobacterium butyricum.
