Antigen Information
Introduction
Aquareovirus (AQRV) is a genus of the Reoviridae family, which currently contains a total of seven species, of which Aquareovirus A is a typical species. The host of the virus of this genus is fish, crustacean and shellfish. Usually, Aquareoviruses are weak or not pathogenic to fish, but sometimes cause hemorrhagic diseases, pancreatitis and hepatitis. The virions contain no envelope, are icosahedral in shape, have a diameter of about 75 nm, and the virus encodes a total of 12 proteins.
