Recombinant ASFV Pret-060 Protein (aa 1-205) (VAng-2349Lsx)
African swine fever virus (isolate Tick/South Africa/Pretoriuskop Pr4/1996) Uncharacterized protein K205R (Pret-060), recombinant protein from E. coli. (Uniprot ID: P0CA99)
African swine fever virus (ASFV) is the etiologic agent of African swine fever (ASF), a disease of swine characterized by high morbidity and mortality. ASFV is a large, double-stranded DNA virus in the Asfarviridae family and is endemic to sub-Saharan Africa and exists in the wild through a cycle of infection between ticks and wild pigs, bushpigs, and warthogs. The clinical symptoms of ASFV infection are very similar to classical swine fever, and the two diseases normally have to be distinguished by laboratory diagnosis.
