Recombinant Cynomolgus CD80 Protein (aa 1-242) [Fc] (VAng-Cr3933)
Recombinant Cynomolgus CD80 Protein (Met 1-Asn242) fused with a Fc tag at C-terminus was expressed in HEK293 Cells, with a molecular weight of 50.9 kDa. (Accession ID: AAC31555.1)
CD80 is a protein found on dendritic cells, activated B cells and monocytes that provides a costimulatory signal necessary for T cell activation and survival. It is the ligand for two different proteins on the T cell surface: CD28 (for autoregulation and intercellular association) and CTLA-4 (for attenuation of regulation and cellular disassociation). CD80 works in tandem with CD86 to prime T cells. This protein can act as a receptor for adenovirus subgroup B and may play a role in lupus neuropathy.
