Creative Biolabs provides a reliable ethically sourced, ready-to-use, human primary Effector Memory CD8+ T cells (CD3+CD8+CD45RO+CD62L-). These cells are isolated from peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of normal donors. This product allows for study in numerous immunity research areas.

Memory CD8+ T cells were originally thought to exist as two populations (effector and central memory). Effector memory CD8+ T cells lack expression of CCR7 and CD62L, displaying receptors that promote the migration back and from other tissues and have a better ability to readily produce cytokines. It reside in or circulate through peripheral tissues, such as the lung and skin, and have rapid and potent ex vivo cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) activity.
