Creative Biolabs provides a reliable ethically sourced, ready-to-use, primary human mature dendritic cells. These cells are isolated from peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of normal donors. The isolated cells are cultured to generate immature dendritic cells in serum- and animal component-free medium. This product allows for study in numerous immunity research areas.

Dendritic cells (DCs) are antigen-presenting cells that play an important role in connecting the innate and adaptive immunity of the immune system. DCs can exist in three states: immature, semi-mature, and mature DCs. Immature DCs have endocytic capability but relatively low capacity to stimulate T cells. Immature DCs facilitate tolerance toward cancer cells while fully mature DCs can strongly promote anticancer immunity.
