Creative Biolabs: Expert in NHP-based biomarker research.

Creative Biolabs is a reputable NHP-related service provider that has expertise in preclinical drug discovery, especially in biomarker discovery and validation. We possess core technologies to address critical technical challenges, such as throughput, sensitivity, reliability, and usability, and focus on offering competitive biomarker solutions for research organizations or groups from multiple continents around the world.

Why Biomarkers are Important

Biomarkers are key assessment indicators to monitor the biological process of an organism and play an essential role in exploring action mechanisms and pharmacodynamic aspects of drugs in the new drug development pipeline. Besides, when it comes to clinical applications, biomarkers are also used as a convenient tool for diagnosis and prevention of the disease. Thus, starting early to lay out your biomarker research route can help improve the efficiency and success rate of drug commercialization.

What We Can Provide

Biomarker research will be involved in the whole process of pharmacology and pharmacodynamics analysis, pharmacokinetics evaluation, and safety assessment. Creative Biolabs provides a suite of biomarker discovery, verification, and validation research services on the gene, protein, and cell levels for our global clients. Specifically, we have multi-omics solutions covering genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, lipidomics, and metabolomics for you to choose. Even for some research, you don't have to deliver a sample and only tell us your specific needs, we can conduct the research you are interested in by utilizing ready-made or freshly prepared samples from our NHP disease models.

Published Data

The article focuses on identifying novel biomarkers for acute radiation injury using a multiomics approach in a non-human primate (NHP) model. The study utilized a comprehensive analysis combining metabolomics, proteomics, and lipidomics to develop a reliable biomarker panel. The key result was the identification of a 4-analyte biomarker panel, capable of accurately stratifying irradiated NHPs from non-irradiated ones across all tested doses of gamma rays. This panel, including Serpin family A9, acetylcarnitine, glycerophosphocholine (16:0/22:6), and suberylglycine, showed significant potential for human application following further validation. The study emphasizes the advantages of using NHP models for biomarker discovery due to their closer physiological and immunological resemblance to humans, providing more relevant data for human health applications. The findings are significant for developing minimally invasive assays for radiation exposure assessments and have implications for personalized medicine and public health safety.

FAQ

  1. What advantages do NHP models offer in biomarker discovery over other models?
NHP models closely mimic human physiological and immunological systems, offering more relevant data for human health applications.
  2. How can biomarker discovery in NHPs advance personalized medicine?
It enables the identification of specific biological markers, aiding in tailored treatment approaches and precise diagnostics.

Customer Review

  • Dr. Alex Richardson, Senior Scientist.
Our collaboration with Creative Biolabs on their NHP Biomarker Discovery and Validation service was a cornerstone in our latest project. The level of detail and precision they brought to the biomarker analysis was exceptional. Their use of NHP models provided us with crucial insights, closely mirroring human physiological responses, which was vital for the translational aspect of our research. The team at Creative Biolabs was not only technically proficient but also remarkably responsive and collaborative, adapting their methodologies to fit our specific research needs. The ethical considerations and welfare of the NHPs used in their studies were also commendably managed. Thanks to their support, we were able to identify and validate key biomarkers that are now central to our therapeutic strategy. We highly value their contribution and recommend their services without reservation.
