Lab-O-Wax Plus is a superior embedding media; a mixture of fine paraffin waxes and copolymer alloys in the form of milk-white pellets.
Produces the most homogenous paraffin impregnation. As a result, tissue processed in Lab-O-Wax Plus will have less artifacts and better infiltration, yielding higher quality staining for microscopic examinations. Excellent for cutting of very thin sections.
Non-toxic, DMSO free, high purity.
Melting point: 56°-58°C.
Composed by solid hydrocarbons mixture and manufactured using a purification process to remove contaminants.
Lab-O-Wax Plus is in white drops, translucent, odorless, stable and easy to handle.
