Animal immunization has been used for more than 120 years to improve antibody research, diagnosis, and treatment purposes, which is a proven and technologically straightforward approach. Using the Native™ antibody discovery platform, Creative Biolabs provides single B cell antibody production services worldwide, involving immunogen preparation, animal immunization, as well as single B cell isolation, sequencing, cloning, and screening of single B cell antibodies.
The production of specific antibodies is a relatively straightforward process, which involves animal immunity and relies on its immune system to produce reactions, leading to the biosynthesis of antibodies against the injection molecules. Even so, several factors affect the possibility of inducing immunized animals to produce a useful number of targeted specific antibodies. The preparation and transmission of antigens must be carried out in a form and manner that can make animals produce the maximum specific immune response.

There will be some factors that affect the effectiveness of the immunogen in animal immunization, so it is very important to choose the immunization method after the preparation of the immunogen. The following factors need to be considered:
Some substances are immunogenic in one species but not in another species (i.e. responders and non-responders). The species or individual may lack or have altered genes encoding antigen receptors on B cells and T cells.
Age affects immunogenicity. Generally, very young and very old animals have weakened responsiveness and immune response to immunogens.
Dose: above or below a certain dose, the immune response will not be optimal.
Route: generally, the route of antigen administration can also change the nature of the response.
Adjuvant: the use of adjuvants can enhance the immune response to the immunogen.
The best immune response requires a well-designed immune program. Special attention should be paid to the selection of animal species before initiating an immunization program. In addition, the number of antisera needed, the convenience of sampling the animal, and the homology with antigen also need to be considered.
We believe that our service will make your project achieve twice the result with half the effort. If you have any demands in antibody discovery, please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.
