Due to factors such as high specificity, high binding affinity, long half-life, and low toxicity, antibodies have become the key to diagnosis and treatment. Single B cell screening technology can rapidly generate monoclonal antibodies from single B cells of immunized animals, which has been proved to be a powerful technology to obtain natural antibody repertoire. Creative Biolabs launched a cutting-edge Native™ antibody discovery platform to provide antibody development services.

Background

Antibodies play crucial roles in biological research, such as western blotting, immunoprecipitation, immunohistochemistry, and immunoaffinity chromatography. Antibodies can be produced and promoted by immunizing appropriate animals (e.g., rabbits, mice, or other species) with immunogens. There are two immune-based complementary antibody production methods: (1) producing a single specific antibody by immunization with high purity antigen; (2) producing a multi-specific antibody by immunization with impure antigen (antigen mixture). Monoclonal antibodies can be obtained by appropriate cloning and screening strategies.

Our Services for Immunization

Antibodies are produced by the immune system in response to immunogens. Immunogenicity depends on not only the antigen but also the immune protocol and the choice of host animals. Therefore, the antibody production team of Creative Biolabs provides a variety of immunogens and animal immunization programs to choose from.

To produce high-quality antibodies, it is important to ensure that the target antigen is immunogenic. In addition, the immunogen preparation should not contain toxic contaminants or pyrogens, and it is necessary to remove the agents that are toxic to the host animals, such as heavy metals, guanidine hydrochloride, and urea, etc.

At Creative Biolabs, we provide a variety of immunogen preparation services to adapt to a variety of antibody production, including proteins, peptides, hapten-carrier conjugation, carrier protein, DNA immunogens, and cell antigens.

When implementing the animal immunization program, we will fully consider the following factors to strive for the best immune response:

  1. The quantity of antiserum needed and the convenience of sampling.
  2. The phylogenetic relationship between the source of antigen and the animal species producing antibody.
  3. The usage of the antibodies.
  4. The need to check whether the serum of the non-immunized host has cross-reaction with the antigen.

Creative Biolabs is a full-service antibody discovery company, focusing on the next generation of antibody discovery. At present, we have successfully applied our advanced immunization services to hundreds of antibody discovery projects. The advantages of this method were proved by reducing false-positive and providing more sensitive and specific antibodies. We believe that our service will make your project achieve twice the result with half the effort. If you are interested in our services, please do not hesitate to contact us.
