Background

Studies have shown that hyaluronan-mediated motility receptor (HMMR) can interact with BRCA1 and further regulate cell division and parietal and bastard polarization of breast epithelial cells, so HMMR is considered a potential regulator of BRCA1-related breast cancer risk. However, the molecular and cellular changes produced by risk regulators are not well understood, and their impact on disease subtypes and disease occurrence and progression is unclear.
