  • General Description
  • The cell viability assay kit is a set of tools for monitoring cell viability and cell function. There are various parameters that can be used to monitor cell viability.
  • Product Summary
  • Using our proprietary cell vitality dye, the fluorescence will be greatly enhanced when entering living cells. The dye is a hydrophobic compound that easily penetrates intact living cells. The weakly fluorescent blue probe is hydrolyzed by intracellular esterase to produce a strong fluorescent hydrophilic product, which remains well in the cytoplasm. Esterase activity is directly proportional to the number of living cells, and therefore directly related to the fluorescence intensity of the product produced by the hydrolysis of a fluorescent substrate catalyzed by esterase. Cells growing on the black wall/transparent floor can be stained and quantified in less than two hours.

  • Applications
  • It can be used for a variety of studies, including cell adhesion, chemotaxis, multi-drug resistance, cell viability, apoptosis and cytotoxicity. It provides an optimized cell labeling scheme for all basic components and can be used for suspended cells and adherent cells.
