Creative Biolabs is a professional service provider in the field of T-cell receptors (TCRs) developing and analysis, and now offers cytokines release assay service to help customer assess the function of their TCR-modified T cells by determining the cytokines releasing ability, in detail, detecting the quantity and types of cytokines secreted by those engineered T cells.
It is well known that TCRs play a central role in the immune system. TCRs on T-cell surfaces can specifically recognize peptide antigens presented by antigen presenting cells (APCs). This recognition leads to the activation of T-cells and a series of functional outcomes such as cytokine production and killing of the target cells. The release of cytokines by T cells defines a significant part of their functional activity in vivo, and their ability to produce multiple cytokines has been associated with beneficial immune responses. In other words, assaying the ability of cytokines releasing is an important part for understanding the functional role of TCRs. Therefore, performing the assessment to evaluate the cytokines release ability of TCR-modified T cells can be quite helpful for monitoring the function as well as efficiency of your disease-targeting TCRs. Usually, when we say an engineered TCR is functional, it means it works well and can mediate the secretion of effector cytokines and cytotoxicity of modified T cells. In response to viruses or tumor antigens, those successfully modified T cells can secrete higher levels of cytokines, such as IFN-ɣ, IL-12 and GM-CSF, to launch strong immune responses to targeting disease tissues. These effector cytokines regulate T cell immune response, and the standard methods for measurement of T cell immune responses include enzyme-linked immunospot assay (ELISpot), intracellular cytokine staining assay (ICS), and flow cytometry. The ELISpot and ICS assays apply in vitro stimulation to analyze the cytokine expression profiles of responding cells. Scientists from Creative Biolabs will select appropriate methods for customers to analyze these released cytokines of transgenic TCR.
With access to various commercial ELISA assay kits and multiple analysis technology and instruments, Creative Biolabs is committed to offering top-quality cytokines release assay to meet every customer’s requirements. For assay project, Creative Biolabs guarantee to offer a comprehensive analysis report with accurate assay data and all the other information required.
