B Cell-based Immunoprecipitation Assay

Introduction of Immunoprecipitation Assay

Immunoprecipitation is a simple and well-established method to identify proteins that interact with specific proteins and is widely used for antibody and antigen separation and characterization. With extensive experience in antigen and antibody study, Creative Biolabs offers antibody-mediated immunoprecipitation services to clients for cancer epitope analysis.

Immunoprecipitation is a powerful biochemical method used for identifying interacting proteins. In this assay, protein A, protein G, or target antigen-specific antibodies conjugated on solid support material like beads or sepharose are used to identify proteins that interact. Using detergents disrupted cell membranes combined with immunoprecipitation assay, we can analyze antibody-antigen epitope binding interaction and identify antigenic epitopes within an antigen.

Immunoprecipitation Assay Services at Creative Biolabs

Immunoprecipitation assay is a mature technique to separate antigenic epitopes from the antigen protein mixture using the specific antibody-antigen binding interaction. Creative Biolabs provides a comprehensive protocol for tumor antigen study using the immunoprecipitation technique.

Sample Preparation

Samples for immunoprecipitation can be extracted from patient tumor biopsy or cells recombinantly express antigen protein.

Cell membranes can be disrupted using multiple detergents, including Digitonin, triton x-100, and CHAPS.

Antibody

Commercial antibodies. Reliable and reproducible commercial antibodies are used for the immunoprecipitation of antigenic peptides.

Custom antibody production. We also have a robust antibody development platform to produce high-quality antibodies to customers' interest.
