Ambient Temperature Cell Transport Capsule Kits
Transport Capsule Kit - Revolutionizing Cell Logistics
The cell transport capsule kit is a cutting-edge solution for ambient temperature cell transport. This technology encapsulates cells within a biocompatible capsule system, effectively minimizing metabolic activity while maintaining membrane integrity. Compatible with basic laboratory tools such as standard 5 mL tubes and cell culture medium, this system ensures the safe, active transport of various cell types - including 293T, HepG2, K562 tumor cells and SD-MSCs -within a temperature range of 10°C to 37°C for up to one week.
Featured Products
Each Cell Transport Capsule Kit contains two sterile tubes:
-
A Cell Capsule Tube pre-loaded with the encapsulated cells.
-
A Reconstitution Buffer Tube for capsule dissolution and cell release.

Product Scope
-
Fully compatible with Creative Biolabs' tumor cell lines for ambient transportation.
-
Particularly suitable for other tumor cell lines with robust proliferation, especially those sensitive to cryoprotectants like DMSO or those with low post-thaw viability.
Usage Guidelines-From Delivery to Culturing
Upon receipt, the Cell Transport Capsule should be handled at ambient temperature (15-25°C). Begin processing within 24 hours for optimal viability. Note that slight medium turbidity is normal and does not affect performance. Carefully inspect labels and packaging integrity. For issues, contact our technical support team promptly.

-
Disinfect: Spray external packaging with 75% ethanol.
-
Unpack in Biosafety Cabinet: Open both the cell capsule and buffer tubes carefully.
-
Remove Original Medium: Discard transport medium from the capsule tube.
-
Add Buffer: Transfer all buffer into the capsule tube and mix gently (invert for 3-5 min).
-
Recover Cells: Open the tube, pipette gently to fully dissolve the capsule.
-
Count Cells: Take 20 µL for viability staining (e.g., trypan blue) and cell counting.
-
Centrifuge: Spin at 250 g for 4 minutes and resuspend in suitable culture medium.
-
Culture: Plate cells and incubate; observe morphology and proliferation after 24 hours.
-
Record: Take microscopy images (100× and 200×) for documentation.
Why Choose Our Capsule System
Traditional methods - such as cryopreservation in dry ice/liquid nitrogen or fluid-filled culture flasks - are associated with high logistics costs, leakage risks, and unstable cell viability. Our capsule kit solves these issues by offering:
Ambient Temperature Stability
Cells remain viable for 7 days without freezing.
Compact Format
Easily shipped in standard document mailers.
Enhanced Cell Integrity
Cells are protected from shear forces and aggregation.
Leak-Free Design
Capsule tubes outperform culture flasks in sealing and handling.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: How many cells can each Cell Transport Capsule Kit carry?
A1: Each Cell Transport Capsule Kit can transport up to 1.0×10⁷ cells per shipment. For most tumor cell lines, we recommend storing or transporting between 5.0×10⁶ and 5.0×10⁷ cells to ensure optimal viability and recovery.
Q2: How many days can the Capsule maintain cells at ambient temperature?
A2: We generally recommend using the Cell Transport Capsule Kit for 3-7 days of ambient-temperature shipping. Internal testing has demonstrated that cells can remain viable for up to 14 days under room temperature conditions (15°C-25°C), although shorter durations are preferred for best results.
