Description
Researchers at the Creative Biolabs have developed C57BL/6 Mouse CD3 Pan T Cells, purified that allows for study in numerous research areas, such as immunology, oncology. The cells can be used for a wide variety of safety assessment and functional assays.
Species character
The C57BL/6 mouse is the most commonly-used inbred mouse strain and is employed in numerous research areas, including immunology, genetics, diabetes and obesity, neurobiology, cardiovascular biology, and developmental biology. They are routinely used as the background strain for generation of congenics carrying modified genes and/or transgenes. These mice carry the H-2b haplotype and their immune cells are commonly used in immune-based assays.
Background
CD3 pan T cells from C57BL/6 mice consist of both CD4 and CD8 T cells and make up approximately 33% of cells in the spleen of a typical adult animal. All T cells carry the CD3 protein marker and the T cell receptor (TCR), which recognizes foreign antigens presented by major histocompatibility complex molecules on antigen presenting cells, to activate them.
