CD4⁺ T cells are a type of white blood cell that plays a central role in the immune system. They are involved in coordinating the immune response and helping other immune cells to recognize and destroy pathogens.

CD4+ cells, also known as T-helper cells, are a type of white blood cell that play a critical role in the functioning of the immune system. These cells are responsible for coordinating the immune response by activating and directing other immune cells to defend against pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, and other foreign invaders. CD4+ cells also play a key role in adaptive immunity, a specific immune response that develops after exposure to a pathogen to provide long-lasting protection against future infections. In individuals with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), the virus specifically targets and infects CD4+ cells, leading to a weakening of the immune system and increased susceptibility to infections.

Frozen cells should be thawed according to handling procedure or stored in a liquid nitrogen tank.
