Introduction of Protein Immunogen

Choosing the proper immunogen is one of the most critical steps in any customized antibody production project. In most cases, protein antigens are generally regarded as the gold standard when it comes to the production of high-quality antigens for antibody generation purposes. With the structural complexity and size, proteins themselves are strong immunogens. And the unique ability to trigger immune responses and recognize the native conformation makes these proteins excellent alternatives to other antigen substitutes. In addition, antibodies produced from protein antigens recognize multiple conformational epitopes within the target protein, enhancing the selectivity and specificity of the antibody.
