CD1c is a transmembrane glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 43 kDa, belonging to the CD1 family of proteins, which are structurally related to MHC class I molecules. It non-covalently associates with β2-microglobulin and is primarily expressed on a major subpopulation of human myeloid dendritic cells (mDCs).
