Cells have passed rigorous tests for bacteria, yeast, fungi, and mycoplasma, and can be used as a tool for many experiments such as cell-cell interaction, adhesion, PCR, Western blot, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescent staining, immunofluorescent flow cytometry, or generating cell derivatives for specified research purposes.
