Creative Biolabs develops a collection of derivative products of GFP-expressing primary cells. Our immortalized GFP-expressing monkey primary prostate smooth muscle cells are generated from the immortalization event of over-expressing some viral genes. When growing to passage 3, these cells are harvested in vials from flasks and can be rethawed and expanded for more than ten passages under our specified culture condition. These cells are easy to culture and maintain, and offer a helpful platform for obtaining homogeneous cells constantly.
