Viability Assay
Description
The 3D Cell ATP-Based Viability Assay Set utilizes high-sensitivity bioluminescence (luciferase) to quantify ATP, reflecting viable cell counts in 3D cultures. Its optimized reagent effectively penetrates and lyses 3D spheroids without prior washing or medium removal. This user-friendly, glow-type assay offers stable signal duration (up to 3h), making it ideal for high-throughput screening.

Shipping
Shipping with dry ice
Storage
Store at -20°C for 1 year. Protect from light and minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
Precautions
1. Contains temperature-sensitive luciferase. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles by aliquoting after the first thaw. Ensure containers are ATP-free. 2. Thawed reagent is stable at 4°C for 2 days in the dark. 3. Equilibrate cells and reagents to room temperature before assay. 4. High solvent content in drugs can interfere with luminescence; use solvent controls. 5. Ensure complete cell lysis by optimizing shaking/incubation for consistent results. 6. Use white or black plates; transparent plates cause interference. 3D cultures can be transferred to compatible plates for detection. 7. Research use only. 8. Wear protective gear.
