Cas9-stable cells are usually used in relevant experiments involving gene editing operations. They can stably express the CRISPR Cas9 nuclease and have become popular tools across the globe. These cells are cultured in a gelatin pre-coated tissue culture flask until the third passage and then are collected in vials.
