Description
Basement Membrane Matrix, Standard (with Phenol Red) is a soluble form of basement membrane extracted from Engelbreth-Holm-Swarm (EHS) mouse tumors. Rich in extracellular matrix proteins (Laminin, Col-IV, Entactin) and growth factors (IGF-1, TGF-β, VEGF, EGF, bFGF), it promotes cell differentiation and proliferation. Ideally suited for angiogenesis assays, tumor invasion studies, and organoid culture.

Precautions
1. Thaw the product by submerging the package in ice within a 4°C refrigerator. Once thawed, divide into aliquots and store frozen. 2. Ensure all consumables are pre-chilled to prevent premature gelling. 3. Do not hold the tube directly with warm hands, as this may cause partial gelation. If this occurs, place the matrix back in a 0-4°C refrigerator for 1-2 hours to liquefy. 4. Color changes (ranging from pale yellow to deep red) are normal and result from the interaction of phenol red with bicarbonate buffer and CO2; this does not affect product quality. 5. Intended for research purposes only; not for diagnostic, therapeutic, or household use. 6. Wear protective clothing and disposable gloves during handling.
