Description
Growth Factor Reduced Basement Membrane Matrix (with Phenol Red) is a specialized matrix derived from mouse tumors with significantly lowered growth factor levels compared to standard matrices. It retains key structural components like Laminin and Collagen IV. This formulation minimizes background signaling, making it perfect for organoid culture and studies requiring precise control over signaling pathways.

Shipping with dry ice
Storage
Store at -20°C for up to 2 years. Do not freeze-thaw repeatedly.
Precautions
1. Thaw on ice at 4°C. Aliquot after the initial thaw and store frozen. 2. Pre-chill all equipment before contact to prevent gelling. 3. Handle tubes carefully to avoid heat transfer from hands. If gelation starts, liquefy at 0-4°C for 1-2 hours. 4. Color variance (yellow to red) is normal due to buffer and phenol red interactions. 5. Strictly for research and development use. 6. Wear a lab coat and gloves for safety.
