Description
Growth Factor Reduced (GFR) Basement Membrane Matrix offers a defined environment with minimized growth factor concentrations while maintaining essential structural integrity (Laminin, Col-IV). It is designed to reduce background signaling variation. Lacking phenol red, this matrix is ideal for organoid culture, signaling pathway research, and applications requiring color detection without optical interference.

Shipping
Shipping with dry ice
Storage
Store at -20°C for up to 2 years. Do not freeze-thaw repeatedly.
Precautions
1. Thaw by packing in ice at 4°C. Dispense into aliquots and freeze for storage. 2. Use pre-chilled consumables to stop the matrix from gelling. 3. Minimize hand contact to prevent warming. If semi-gel forms, restore at 0-4°C for 1-2 hours. 4. Normal color range is straw yellow to deep red due to chemical interactions; this is not a defect. 5. For research use only. 6. Protective gloves and lab coat are required.
