The immortalized GFP-expressing monkey primary endothelial cells provided by Creative Biolabs are isolated from the normal umbilical vein tissue of cynomolgus monkeys. They are obtained by the immortalization of over-expressing certain virus genes and have been excluded from bacterial contamination. We harvest these cells from a gelatin-pre-coated tissue culture flask when they are in passage 3. Then we cryopreserve them in vials so that you thaw and culture them under our specified culture condition at a proper time.
