Separation Principle:
A combination of biotin-conjugated antibodies and anti-biotin microbeads is employed for the indirect magnetic labeling of non-T cells. Thus, a high level of purity in untouched T cells can be isolated by depleting the magnetically labeled non-T cells.
Background Information:
The Pan T cell isolation kit consists of a biotinylated anti-simian CD3 antibody and anti-biotin microbeads. CD3 is expressed on all T cells and is associated with the T cell receptor.
