ADCs Toxins, Aphidicolin is a tetracyclic diterpene antibiotic with antiviral, antineoplastic and antimitotic properties. It is a reversible inhibitor of eukaryotic nuclear DNA replication and blocks the cell cycle at early S phase. Furthermore it is known as a specific inhibitor of DNA polymerase A,D in eukaryotic cells and in some viruses. Aphidicolin belongs to the group of mycotoxins. Origin: Nigrospora oryzae
