RFP is an extensively used label protein in a variety of biochemistry assays. According to the general protocol, Creative Biolabs build a RFP-expressing cell product network including the RFP-expressing monkey primary ovarian smooth muscle cells by transducing RFP-lentiviral particles. They are cryopreserved in vials when in passage 3 and can be expanded for about 3-5 passages at a split ratio of 1:2 in a suitable medium. We keep all RFP-expressing cells available to our global customers as long as you have related research needs.
