This synergistic system completely neutralizes interfering plasma factors without degrading the target endotoxins, delivering unprecedented sensitivity, reproducibility and clarity to your plasma assays. 1. Plasma Pre-treatment Reagent Instead of simple dilution or harsh heat treatments that can precipitate proteins and trap LPS, our specialized pre-treatment reagent gently but definitively inactivates plasma inhibitors. It dissociates bound endotoxins from plasma proteins, ensuring that all circulating LPS is fully bioavailable for reaction with the LAL reagent. 2. High-Sensitivity Kinetic Turbidimetric Assay Once the sample is treated, it undergoes a kinetic turbidimetric analysis. As endotoxin activates the enzymatic cascade within the reagent, a gel clot begins to form, increasing the turbidity of the solution. By measuring the time required for the optical density to increase by a specific threshold, the system calculates the precise endotoxin concentration against a standard curve.
