Business Development Manager, Gene Therapy

Role Summary
This role requires a comprehensive understanding of Gene Therapy related products and services, manufacturing technology and the drug development regulatory environment, as well as the ability to manage client relationships with our worldwide clients.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with sponsors to understand their project needs and objectives, provide professional advice on our gene therapy contract research services.
Work closely with the R&D team on assessing opportunities and developing gene therapy products.
Develop and maintain a strong network in the gene therapy market from which to drive future opportunities.
Actively monitor and provide feedback on market trends and competitive dynamics.
Contribute to the writing of proposals and other technical documents.
Basic Qualifications
Advanced degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Virology or related discipline.
Thorough understanding of biopharmaceutical industry and sensitive to new technology.
Strong sales skills sets including but not limited to analytical, communication, and negotiation.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a large team.
Ability of work in a fast paced and challenging environment with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Ability to act as “voice of the expert”, provide effective communication to achieve solid working relationships with customers.
