Multi-specific Antibody-modified Exosome Engineering Services

Multi-specific antibodies coupled with exosome delivery systems exhibit enhanced targeting and immunomodulatory activity, breaking through the limitations of traditional antibodies and natural exosomes, and increasing the intelligence of drug delivery to a more active and stable level. Based on the principles of gene editing and surface lipid composition alteration in exosome-producing cells, Creative Biolabs offers a proven customized manufacturing service for exosomes with multi-specific antibodies modifications.

Strengths of Multi-Specific Antibodies Combined with Exosome Delivery Platform

Compared to traditional monoclonal antibodies, multispecific antibodies are designed to bring together multiple different antigens or different epitopes of the same antigen, taking advantage of more precise targeting and stronger therapeutic effects. Combining them with exosome vehicles to construct exosomes carrying multi-specific antibodies can show enhanced interaction with multiple sites in target cells, and this enhanced effect is more pronounced than the combination therapy of individual antibody-modified exosomes and can trigger new contact cell effects of exosomes. Often, such multiple antibodies-modified exosomes can target novel interference targets or combinations of targets that are not possible with single antibody-modified exosomes. Furthermore, thanks to the protective effect of the loaded exosomes, these multiple antibodies on lipid membranes exhibit longer circulation and target residency compared to free multiple antibodies.

Strategies for Exosome Modification with Multi-Specific Antibodies

Engineering modification of exosomes is a convenient way to impart new properties to exosomes. Similar to the production of single antibody-modified exosomes, multi-specific antibodies-modified exosomes are produced by genetically modifying their production cells or by directly altering their lipid membrane surface components. On the one hand, they can be obtained by transfecting donor cells with plasmids encoding fusion genes of several monoclonal antibodies with transmembrane proteins expressed on the exosome surface. Commonly used transmembrane proteins include CD9, PDGFR TM (transmembrane domain), and Lamp2b. On the other hand, direct alteration of exosome membranes can be done by click chemistry or PEG-mediated method to attach pre-produced multi-specific antibodies to exosomes.

Multi-Specific Antibody-Modified Exosome Engineering Services at Creative Biolabs

Creative Biolabs has established multi-specific antibody-modified exosome systems that enable multi-targeted accumulation and sequential uptake of tumors and their microenvironment, as well as activation of additional immune responses by redirecting cytotoxic immune effector cells to induce more significant targeted cancer cytotoxic effects. Notably, our experienced exosome-producing cell selection strategy enables such multi-specific antibody-modified exosomes to act as modulators of multiple targets in a single pathway or in different cascades of signaling. Our advanced multispecific antibodies modified exosome platform manufacturing services include:

Multi-specific antibodies coupled with exosomes are actively targeted exosomes with antibodies and complement-dependent synergistic modulation of cellular immunity. Also, the better targeting of such exosomes increases the possibility of drug delivery to the working site and avoids adverse reactions when delivered to non-working sites. Creative Biolabs offers services to manufacture different types of multi-specific antibodies modified exosomes for powering clients to update their research on engineered exosomes.
