Description

Synonyms: 6-Amino-3',6'-dihydroxyspiro[isobenzofuran-1(3H),9'-(9H)xanthen]-3-one (isomer II) / Fluoresceinamine (isomer II). This is the fluorescein fluorophore functionalized with a primary amine. The amine acts as a nucleophilic handle, allowing it to be coupled to activated carboxyl groups (e.g., on a protein) using EDC/NHS chemistry.
