PRODUCT INFORMATION
Description
This is a homobifunctional, hydrophilic PEGylation linker. It features two terminal primary amine groups separated by a 3-unit polyethylene glycol (PEG) spacer. This linker is not reactive on its own but serves as a flexible, hydrophilic "bridge." It is used to link two molecules that are functionalized with amine-reactive groups, such as NHS esters or isothiocyanates. For example, it can be used to crosslink two NHS ester-activated proteins or surfaces. The PEG3 spacer enhances water solubility and provides a defined, flexible linkage.
