Description

This is a heterobifunctional, hydrophilic PEGylation crosslinker. It features a sulfhydryl-reactive maleimide group and an amine-reactive N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) ester, separated by a 6-unit polyethylene glycol (PEG) spacer. The NHS ester reacts efficiently with primary amines (pH 7.0-9.0), while the maleimide targets thiols (pH 6.5-7.5).
