PRODUCT INFORMATION
Description
Synonyms: 2,3-Diaminophenazine / 2,3-Phenazinediamine. It is light yellow to yellow to orange powder to crystal. Also known as 2,3-Diaminophenazine (DAP), this is a fluorogenic probe primarily used for the detection of nitric oxide (NO). DAP itself is weakly fluorescent, but it reacts with NO-derived nitrosating species (like N₂O₃) in an acidic environment to form a highly fluorescent, stable triazolo-phenazine product. This "turn-on" response makes it a widely used tool for quantifying NO production in biological samples.
