As a world-leading service provider of antibody development and generation, Creative Biolabs is ready to provide a whole series of biomarker-specific in vitro diagnostic (IVD) antibody development services. A team of experienced scientists focused on antibody development are pleased to assist you in your project in a timely and cost-effective manner. Here, we introduce our IVD antibody development services targeting creatine kinase-MB (CK-MB).

Creatine Kinase (CK) is one kind of enzyme which can be expressed in varies cell types and tissues. In the cells, there are two subunits of CK enzymes which are B (brain type) and M (muscle type). Therefore, there are three different types of isoenzymes which are CK-MM, CK-BB, and CK-MB. CK-MB is the form of the enzyme CK which can be found mostly in the heart, but small amounts can be found in skeletal muscles. When there is muscle damage, CK can be released from muscle cells and be detected in the blood. In general, the CK-MB can be present when the damage is in the heart. Currently, CK-MB is the enzyme used as the definitive serum marker for the diagnosis or exclusion of acute myocardial infarction (AMI).

CK-MB Marker of Acute Myocardial Infarction

AMI refers to the local myocardium ischemic necrosis caused by blood flow interruption and acute coronary artery occlusion. In AMI, the CK-MB level in plasma always rises four to six hours after the chest pains and get to the peak within 12 to 24 hours. Finally, the value can return to the basic level within 24 to 48 hours. The specificity for cardiac tissue makes CK-MB to be a powerful diagnostic tool for the diagnosis of AMI.

IVD Antibodies of CK-MB Marker

With the rapid development of IVD, IVD antibodies play more and more important roles in the diagnosis of varies of biomarkers. Among the cardiac enzymes, CK-MB is the biomarker for the myocardial damage and has become the most important serum enzyme test in the diagnosis of AMI. Creative Biolabs now can offer the high-affinity IVD antibody discovery and development against CK-MB.

IVD Antibody Development Services Targeting CK-MB Marker

IVD antibodies are extensively used in immunodiagnostic tools for disease screening and therapeutic monitoring. Through our role as a leading antibody service provider, Creative Biolabs is well-positioned to develop high-quality anti-CK-MB antibodies. Besides antibody generation, Creative Biolabs also offers diagnostic immunoassay development services, including feasibility analysis, assay design, assay protocol establishment, assay optimization, and kit production.
